In recent blogs, I have touched on the concept of clutter and clearing the clutter. The idea carries such significance that I would like to include this theme of ‘clutter clearing’ in the next couple of articles.

Let’s explore how physical clutter eventually impacts on our daily life. Unattended clutter is capable of over-ruling and altering our sense of personal wellbeing. Physical clutter often represents parts of our life and is surprisingly accurate in revealing what is transpiring in those parts of our life. Working through the visible, physical clutter begins with sorting and clearing items from each room in your home or workplace. This helps provide the energy to regain control over things that need our attention, things we may have let slip.

How long has it been since you had a good cleanout? People often feel obliged to keep things they do not like. Stuffed in the corner of a shelf or drawer, we find many strange items we no longer love nor wanted. This unnecessary clutter is causing energy in a home or workplace to become stale and stagnant. Removing things from your life that have little or no meaning helps to feel lighter and brighter.

Firstly, sort through and determine the things we do not love, need nor use. Put these items into separate boxes, one for the rubbish, one for the second hand shop and one for things for sale. Simply doing this one task provides us with a sense of accomplishment. Mysteriously this creates a nice space where energy and motivation combine to uncover deeper levels of consciousness, and intuitively we become aware of our persistent mental clutter, which may also require consideration.

When we clean out our home, it is hard to dismiss the notion that some foods could go on the clearing list also. Clearing clutter includes unhealthy food. As a reward, the energy you receive will encourage more action, boost your confidence and inspire some fun ideas for daily exercise. Clutter can take control of our life and remove our ability to believe in ourselves.

Procrastination is another means of holding onto clutter. We find excuses to leave things that require attention until a later time. Holding fast to excuses and telling yourself you never have time is accumulating clutter. Ultimately, we feel frustrated and unfulfilled with the ever increasing clutter. Unfinished business hinders your progress and hampers your state of wellbeing. Completing what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, will invite clarity into your life and instil a peaceful energy into your home or workplace.

Removing our clutter means we are on the way to a creating the life we desire. Most people agree that taking the first step towards anything is the hardest, so consider a professional coach for some help and a little guidance in returning to our productive and happy self. Make yourself a promise, create the time and decide.

Clear out your physical clutter and speak to a life coach today, your peaceful heart is patiently waiting.
