Yes. Mediation follows a professionally structured model of practice which includes guiding principles and ethical behaviour. For all parties, this provides a safe space where conflicts may be resolved or improved.
It is important for each person to be heard and allowed to present and state their case in full and with respect.
The process is aimed at fostering mutual respect and understanding, through balanced, positive communication. Mediation may offer a course of action to help gain perception and develop deeper insight and knowledge towards a difficult situation.

I have known Jill for six years now since working with QLD TAFE. I was always impressed with Jill; her professionalism coupled with a genuine empathic nature facilitates education with heart. I was privileged to also be under Jill’s tutelage during Dual Diploma study in 2012. Her knowledge, skills and ability to effectively facilitate learning as well as enable others to succeed were exceptional.There were difficult students at times – very time challenged and pressured by their regular teaching responsibilities, annoyed with some of the seemingly unnecessary requirements of the course. Jill looked after them beautifully, re-empowering their ability to complete studies.
