Seeking Help
Most people seek counselling / therapy when they are facing a situation in life that is too difficult for them to handle, perhaps some unavoidable crisis. Sometimes people seek therapy for self-improvement. When we ask for help, we make ourselves vulnerable and this helps to open up new learning and self-discovery.
Raising one’s emotional awareness is essential to healing. Therapy / Counselling can help to uncover the emotional potential of our interpersonal interactions and empower our relationships.
Therapy can help to create change. The process of change will begin with a conversation, often inviting self-reflection. Positive reflection can become a strong foundation for every healthy relationship.
Words cannot express how truly blessed I feel to have met Jill. I felt a connection to her the day I sat down in her consult room at Eden Retreat. I was in a rather fragile state as I sat opposite her with a box of tissues having just experienced a major breakdown in my brand new marriage. Jill was so nurturing and compassionate and encouraged me to tackle my deepest fears. The session focused on providing me with tools to help me through my pain.
Jill is warm and friendly and has a HUGE heart and genuinely wants to nurture you back to self-love and peace. Upon returning home from my stay at Eden my issues at home continued. I live in Melbourne and Jill in QLD, but this was not a barrier for me as I knew I had found a therapist I connected with. I separated from my husband temporarily and Jill was my rock, she was incredibly patient with my emotional state and made herself available to me on a daily basis via phone, email, Skype, she went far beyond the realms of a “therapist”. She has a very spiritual and holistic approach. I truly feel that meeting Jill was the beginning of my spiritual and healing journey, one that shows me little bits of “magic” every day. I thank you, Jill from the bottom of my heart for teaching me how to love myself again.

Types of counselling / therapy I provide
Do I have to book a sequence of sessions?
No, by offering short or long term sessions, we decide together how often you want to come, and for how long. Many clients work through a specific situation where they get stuck and only stay in sessions until they feel better. You may stop coming for months or years at a time, until something else comes up where you need a “top up”. It is possible to achieve the changes you want in a very short length of time.
I found Jill easy to talk to, sympathetic and supportive. She provided constructive feedback and sometimes challenging suggestions. I am really pleased I decided on this appointment. It has given me validation and food for thought.
Thanks so much Jill! I wouldn’t know what to do without all your beautiful efforts in me.
Jill Thank you for helping me to restore belief in myself. In only a short time you have had such a strong positive impact in my life for which I’m most grateful.
Thank you Jill for an awesome session, you are way better than I imagines. I am feeling a lot better and definitely not overwhelmed like I was yesterday
Great session, I feel able to regain more confidence and control now.
Thank you so much for your time yesterday. We felt very positive after seeing you and both agree this is definitely a huge step in the right direction.
We are definitely committed to making changes and feel really great to have someone like yourself to guide us, so a very big thank you.
