Action Learning Gold Coast

What is Action Learning?

The Action Learning process involves a small group of people working on real problems within an organisation, subsequently learning and taking action as individuals and as a team. It helps an organisation or company develop creative, flexible and successful strategies to overcome simple or complex problems.

How many people can be involved in a session?

Generally, 6 to 8 people will participate in a session. Preferably, one of the participants will come from a position outside of the team. This presents other team members with an opportunity to hear points of view from a new perspective.

I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious. The important thing is to not stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reasons for existing - Albert Einstein

Thanks Jill – it was brilliant!
The feedback I have received from my team was thoroughly positive and I think especially for the problem presenter it enabled her to feel heard and valued by the team.
I also really liked the way that the facilitator summarised people’s strengths and process skills at the end of the session. It was very uplifting and positive!

I want to thank you for facilitating the Action Learning workshop for the Recovery program on Tuesday. It was extremely productive and the feedback from the staff that attended was excellent and resulted in an interesting outcome. We have a meeting set up to start addressing this and to work on a formal plan that will fit this purpose. Other good ideas that came from the day will also be discussed.

Thanks so much for today, I got a lot out of it and also felt very supported by you being here.
I’m hoping it will bring about positive changes for the team moving forward.
